Return & Refund Policy

Last revised: 2 June 2026

Courses are a service, not a parcel — but you should still be able to change your mind without losing a term's fees. Here is exactly how refunds work at MealForge Academy.

Cooling-off: full refund

Cancel within 7 days of payment and before attending your second session, and we refund 100% of the fee to your original payment method within 14 days. No reason needed, no forms beyond a single email.

Withdrawing mid-term

  • Before week 3: refund of the remaining sessions minus a RM 150 administration fee.
  • Weeks 3–5: 50% of the remaining sessions refunded, or 100% converted to course credit.
  • After week 5: no cash refund, but see medical and relocation cases below.

Medical grounds and relocation

With a medical certificate, or proof of relocation more than 50 km from Kuala Lumpur, unused sessions convert to course credit in full at any point in the term. Credit is valid for 18 months and transferable to an immediate family member — many parents pass credit between siblings in Young Learners.

1-to-1 packages

Unused package hours are refundable minus the hours already taken, re-priced at the single-hour rate, minus the RM 150 administration fee. Package hours expire 12 months after purchase; expired hours are not refundable, so tell us early if life intervenes — extensions are cheap, lapses are not.

If we cancel

If we cancel a course before it starts (for example, an under-subscribed group with no parallel class), you choose between a full refund within 14 days or full credit plus a 10% bonus toward any other programme.

The progress promise

The free term under our progress promise is delivered as a 100% fee waiver on your next term — it has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a refund.

How to claim

Email [email protected] with your name, class and enrolment date, or speak to reception at the centre. Every refund is confirmed in writing, with the amount and date, before it is processed.
